Take Notice that, pursuant to a writ issued to me by the Clerk of Dáil Éireann, I will take a poll on 26th February 2016, between the hours of 07:00am and 10:00pm to elect five members of the Dáil for this constituency.

The Notice of Election for the Dáíl General Election to be held on 26th February, 2016 can be viewed by clicking on the following links.

Prospective candidates for the Dáil General Election due to be held in the spring of 2016 may use the forms available for download below to register their candidacy. Once a date has been announced for the election candidates may contact the office of the Returning Officer to make an appointment to register the nomination. All candidates will require a completed Nomination form and Agent Forms. Candidates running under the banner of a registered political party should get a certificate of political affiliation signed by the designated party officials. Non-party candidates must lodge a deposit of €500 with the returning officer or submit a completed Form of Statutory Declaration by Assentors. Assentors should use the same name on that form as the name that appears on the electoral register to ensure that the form can be processed correctly.
